METER MIX introduces a new touch panel for all PLC operated metering and mixing machines. Each new machine will be equipped with a 5.6" colour HMI (Human Machine Interface) touch screen. The larger display makes the whole operation more efficient and easier whilst being more comfortable for the operator with an intuitive user interface. It allows for better operator interaction in daily production.
Complex processes can be easily controlled and monitored. It is now easier for the operator to set important process parameters such as the mixing ratio, shot size, anti-gel timer, etc (where applicable) for the respective application.
As an additional option on many of the METER MIX machines, a Recipe Function can also be included. This system allows the operator to easily select up to 50 different pre-programmable recipes, which include the shot size & flow rate and (when used in conjunction with gear pump machines) can also include preset ratios. These can all be easily selected by using the new HMI display screen. Furthermore, when used in conjunction with a robotic applicator, the system can be adapted to allow remote recipe selection in order to give greater flexibility of the dispensing system.
The software shown on the display is pre-programmed and installed for each machine, therefore the information and setting options on the display may vary.
